Clip-in hair extensions are the perfect solution to add length and volume to your own hair instantly. Clip-in hair extensions are super convenient for any occasion and are easy to apply and remove. 

What is Remy Hair?

Remy hair is the highest quality of hair extensions. The hair is kept with the cuticles intact and all the hair strands are aligned in the natural direction of growth to create beautiful hair that does not easily tangle or damage your natural hair.

How many pieces are included in a new set of extensions?

Our clip-in extensions are designed with more hair per weft than average; you need fewer clips to achieve a voluminous and glamorous look. GLAMOURLUX hair shades will blend well even if your hair color is slightly different.

Each set includes a total of 6 pieces:

• One 8-inch weft (4 clips)

• One 7-inch weft (4 clips)

• Two 6-inch wefts (3 clips)

• Two 4-inch wefts (2 clips on each)

Do I need to deep condition my hair extensions?

If you wear your extensions often and use products and heat on them, it's important to deep condition them once a week to increase the lifespan of your extensions. Deep condition your extensions like you would your hair with a small amount of Argan oil or a leave-in treatment.

When choosing a wig, consider your face shape, personal style, and the occasion for which you'll be wearing the wig. Look for wigs that complement your face shape and personal style.

Step 2: Select the color.

Choose a color that complements your skin tone and eye color. Consider a color like your natural hair color or try a new color that enhances your features.

Step 3: Consider accessories.

Once you have chosen your wig, consider getting accessories for your wig.

What are the different types of wig caps? 

There are various types of wigs, including human hair wigs, synthetic wigs, lace front wigs, and monofilament wigs. Heat-friendly synthetic wigs are a popular option for those who want the convenience of synthetic hair with the flexibility to style their wig with heat tools. Here are the different types of wig caps for heat-friendly synthetic wigs:

• Basic cap: This is the most common type of wig cap and is made of wefted hair sewn onto stretchy cap. Basic caps are affordable, lightweight, and breathable.
• Monofilament cap: Monofilament caps have a fine, sheer material at the crown that mimics the look of natural hair growth. They are comfortable to wear and allow for natural movement of the hair.
• Lace front cap: Lace front caps have a sheer lace panel at the front of the wig that creates a natural-looking hairline. They are ideal for off-the-face styling and offer a seamless, natural look.
• 100% Hand-tied cap: 100% hand-tied caps are the most comfortable and natural-looking wig caps. Each hair is individually hand-tied to the cap, creating a more natural movement, and allowing for multi-directional parting.
• Open cap: Open caps are lightweight and breathable, making them ideal for warmer climates. They have open wefting in the back and sides that allow for air circulation and comfort.

How do I care for my wig?

Proper care is vital to keeping your luxury wig looking its best. We recommend adding accessories like a wig stand, wig cap, and wig brush to care for and maintain your wig. Every wig comes packaged with label instructions to follow:

• Wash hair in cool water (never wash in hot water). Swish gently, and never rub the hair. Rinse and pat dry with a towel. Air dry completely on a stand, never on a solid hair block.
  
• Condition: Apply salon coat conditioner and style.
• Finish: if needed, finish with salon hold holding spray.
• We recommend washing your wig only when necessary (if worn daily, usually after 10-14 days, and more often if your lifestyle or environment calls for it).
• We recommend using essential wig and styling products such as heat-friendly formulated shampoo, conditioner, and sea salt spray.
• We recommend using a wig stand to wash, and air dry your wig. Caution: never brush your wig when wet.

How do I store my wig?

We recommend storing your wig on a mannequin or wig stand when not in use to maintain its unique shape.

Can I style my heat-friendly synthetic hair?

Our heat-friendly synthetic hair wigs allow for styling versatility. When styling heat-friendly fibers, we recommend keeping hot tools at optimal temperatures of 275° - 300° (Caution: we do not recommend going above 350 degrees). With proper care, heat-friendly synthetic hair should last 6 - 12 months.

Can I color my wig?

For immediate wear, our wigs come pre-styled and colored. Synthetic hair cannot be dyed; attempting to color or lighten your wig can damage the piece. 

Can I sleep with my wig on?

Although sleeping with a wig is generally not recommended, some women do so occasionally. To ensure the longevity and quality of the wig, we recommend taking certain precautions:

Wrap you head.

Excessive friction can cause the wig fibers to deteriorate over time, leading to tangles, frizz, and dryness. To prevent this, we recommend laying the hair flat against the head, securing it in place with pins or ties, and wrapping the head in a silk or satin scarf. This will protect the hair from friction and keep it securely in place. 

Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase.

Investing in a silk or satin pillowcase can provide additional protection for your wig if the scarf slips off during sleep. 

Brush your wig thoroughly in the morning.

Brushing or combing the wig carefully in the morning to prevent matting or frizzing throughout the day and using water, a leave-in conditioner, or wig spray to fluff any areas that appear flat gently. 

Give your wig a break.

Lastly, limiting the frequency of sleeping with your wig is essential, as friction can lead to issues such as split ends, tangles, and matting, shortening the wig's lifespan. 

Buy a sleeping wig.

Suppose sleeping with a wig regularly is necessary. In that case, we recommend purchasing a different wig solely for sleeping purposes to extend the longevity of your primary hairpiece. 

Can I swim and shower with my wig?

We do not recommend swimming or showering with your wig. The pool chemicals and salt can damage the hair and affect its color. The pressure on the hair can also create unmanageable tangles.

Yes, we offer free shipping in the U.S. on all hair extension and wig orders.

If you purchase accessories with your hair extension or wig order, the accessories will ship together with your order. Accessories purchased in separate transaction do not qualify for free shipping, and shipping costs are calculated during checkout along with delivery time estimates.

Returns

Human hair extensions and wigs are wearable and considered hygienic products. Due to COVID-19 and for the safety of our customers, we do not accept returns on any items once they have shipped.

Sale items 

Sale items are final and non-refundable. Discounts and promo codes are limited to one use per customer and only valid for hair extension and wig products.
